Allstate® Life Insurance Company to Become Title Sponsor of 13.1 Marathon® Series
Allstate and US Road Sports & Entertainment Group announce sponsorship of the Series and eight events on race circuit
Allstate Insurance Company (NYSE: ALL) and US Road Sports & Entertainment Group today announced a multi-year deal for Allstate Life Insurance Company to become the title sponsor of the 13.1 Marathon® Series, the nation’s fastest-growing half marathon series. The Series will now be called the Allstate Life InsuranceSM 13.1 Marathon® Series.
Through the collaboration, Allstate Insurance Company receives sponsorship exclusivity in the Life, Auto, Home and Financial Services categories. In addition to the Series entitlement, Allstate Life Insurance Company receives naming rights to each of the eight races, logo placement on all marketing materials, (including finishers’ medals) and on-site activation opportunities to provide entertainment and engage with runners and spectators at all races.

Allstate® will activate its sponsorship in a variety of ways to enhance the race experience for runners, their families and spectators. Beginning with the Allstate Life InsuranceSM Miami Beach 13.1 Marathon® on March 4 and throughout the series, the Finish Line Festival will host an interactive Allstate footprint, featuring entertainers, games and interactive experiences. A cool-down station will provide race finishers with bottled water and cool towels, while massage therapists will be available to help alleviate post-race aches and pains. Interactive photo stations will give race participants the chance to commemorate their race experience and share images from the day across their social networks.
The Allstate® Life Insurance Sweepstakes will launch in connection with the Miami Beach race and offer consumers the chance to enter to win an ultimate $4,500 running gear shopping spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods. All year long, race participants can enter the sweepstakes when they register for one of the seven remaining Allstate Life InsuranceSM 13.1 Marathon® Series races, while runners and spectators will be able to enter online or onsite at each of the events.
Fully launched in 2010, the 13.1 Marathon® Series is a group of races that gives runners and walkers a chance to participate in a stand-alone 13.1 mile race in some of the most popular and scenic running communities nationwide. In 2011 alone, the Series had more than 35,000 participants. This year, race markets include Los Angeles, Miami Beach, New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas and Fort Lauderdale with events spanning from January to November.
