The Quicken Loans National and Deutsche Bank Championship announced today their exclusive partnership with DraftKings, Inc., a leading destination for daily fantasy sports. For more information please read the press release below:

The agreement is the first of its kind for DraftKings and the golf industry. As part of the agreement, DraftKings will be designated as the “Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner” of the DC.-based Quicken Loans National and the Boston area’s Deutsche Bank Championship.

The daily fantasy sports destination will also host game and contest opportunities with the Tiger Woods Foundation’s annual Tiger Jam held in Las Vegas.

DraftKings will receive prominent placement on the two PGA TOUR tournament properties, with assets in e-newsletter marketing, inclusion in social media updates and on-site activation. At the Deutsche Bank Championship, DraftKings will host interactive games and hospitality atop the Champions Club for those ticket holders.

“Our tournaments are always seeking novel experiences for their fans and the partnership with DraftKings will bring the action to the next level,” Mike Antolini, Tournament Director of both the QLN and DBC, said. “Many of our fans are playing fantasy sports games, and we look forward to bringing them the source of these activities.”

Fantasy sports game participation has increased exponentially over the years, specifically within the millennial market, an audience of opportunity for Tiger Woods Foundation tournaments. Specific fantasy game activation at the Quicken Loans National and Deutsche Bank Championship will be announced at a later date.

“DraftKings is consistently innovating to bring new games and contests to our customers, and golf is one of our fastest-growing sports, so partnering with these tournaments makes perfect sense,” said Jason Robins, CEO and co-founder of DraftKings. “We are excited to bring our daily fantasy golf offerings to new users and are proud to be associated with major PGA events like the Quicken Loans National and Deutsche Bank Championship.”
